About the Role
Serve as the customer service and inside sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies, efficiently processing PACE inventory, customer orders, and inquiries with minimal supervision using company software and adhering to policies. This role involves direct interaction with Field Sales Representatives, including joint customer visits and managing contract pricing and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Manage product supply for a consigned inventory program with the largest customer.
- Coordinate with internal shipping logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with inventory control to maintain the integrity of consigned inventory at customer locations.
- Resolve inventory issues and ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating directly with customer representatives.
- Perform electronic PACE Cycle counts weekly, working directly with the customer and Materials Manager.
- Process sales orders for parts used by the customer (PACE pulls).
- Check price and stock per customer request.
- Interact with Outside Sales regarding contract quotes.
- Check voicemail messages and respond to customers.
- Expedite PACE released parts with back orders by working with the purchasing and production team.
- Create and manage the PACE back order report daily.
- Provide tracking information and/or proof of delivery upon customer request.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of work experience in a related field.
- General knowledge of sales order processing and standard inventory practices.
- High percentage of work is computer related, utilizing ERP, Customer ERP, and Excel.
- Good computer skills, including Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Adobe.
- Good keyboarding skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency.
- Ability to deal with customers on the phone and in person.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dependable and a self-starter.
- Ability to work independently.
