About the Role

Join our team to help create a modern and future-proof administration in Berlin and drive digitalization forward. You will be responsible for the planning, control, and execution of projects for construction and maintenance measures on the cable duct systems (KKA) of the ITDZ Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the planning, control, and execution of projects for construction and maintenance measures on the cable duct systems (KKA) of the ITDZ Berlin.
  • Prepare documents for construction execution planning, including the service description, and monitor the construction process.
  • Participate in project-related construction meetings and coordinate collaboration with external service providers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain the cable duct systems (KKA) and ensure their functionality within a Berlin district.
  • Independently represent the interests of the ITDZ Berlin in urban redevelopment and construction measures throughout Berlin.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's or University of Applied Sciences degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Civil and Water Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or similar) or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge and initial experience in civil engineering and pipeline construction.
  • Knowledge of laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in the area of responsibility (Berliner Straßengesetz, Telecommunications Act, VOB, RStO, ZTV, DIN 1076).
  • Knowledge of handling construction plans for instructing construction companies on-site.
  • Basic project management skills and proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Valid Class B driver's license.
  • German language skills at C2 level (GER) are required.
  • Proficiency with CAD or GIS software is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing external resources or service providers is advantageous.
  • Organizational skills, holistic thinking, and clear goal orientation are advantageous.
