About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to work on an exciting contract in Stratford. This is a Monday-Friday position working 07:00-16:00/ 10:00-19:00 on a weekly rotational basis.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown work on all electrical systems on site.
  • Operate engineering assets to ensure reliable, cost-effective performance with no unplanned disruptions.
  • Manage reactive work in line with procedures.
  • Develop management tools and report on asset building performance and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain routine PPM is completed on all electrical plant in line with site schedules and asset lists.
  • Complete reactive tasks across the building, including concessionary stores and fabric items, and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Remedy plant faults and defects promptly to maintain serviceability.
  • Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System updated and close out PPM and reactive tickets with accurate information.
  • Complete all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works and pass it to the contract administrator without delay.
  • Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
  • Keep all Smart-managed plant rooms locked, clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements

  • Engineers must have knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators and LV systems.
  • Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data.
  • Experience in a similar role.
