Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of actuarial responsibilities within insurance, including valuation and pricing, capital management and optimization, strategic advice, merger and acquisition due diligence and valuations, actuarial model builds and testing, and optimizing data and reporting processes.
• Support the delivery of client engagements through performing analyses, building models, preparing reports and presentations, attending client meetings, and staying informed on industry updates.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective collaboration with internal and client stakeholders at all levels to deliver practical solutions.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Understanding of actuarial methodologies, financial modelling and sector regulations.
• Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence tools (e.g. CoPilot) and modelling tools (e.g. Python, Prophet, SQL, R).
• Effectively plan, delegate and oversee work across junior team members.
• Adaptable and responsive to a continuously changing environment.
• Willingness and desire to work on client projects across multiple sectors as needed.
