About the Role
Support critical Japan Asset Services activities, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of corporate actions, client servicing, regulatory reporting, and operational processes across the Japan market.
Responsibilities
- Perform operational processing and control activities related to corporate actions, proxy voting, dividends, coupons, deadlines, and regulatory reporting for the Japan market.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, market infrastructures, and external vendors through both Japanese and English communications to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Support document preparation, postal correspondence, client inquiries, and other operational activities required to meet local regulatory and business requirements.
- Contribute to cross-training, business continuity planning, and operational resilience initiatives across Tokyo and Osaka teams.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial market operations, securities processing, corporate actions, settlements, or related operations functions.
- Experience in managing detail-oriented, high-volume operational processes while maintaining strong accuracy and control standards.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AI tools is preferred.
