About the Role

Join our backend processing team, responsible for the core processing pipeline that transforms survey datasets into 3D site outputs. Own the design, development, and maintenance of Temporal-based 3D processing pipelines, ensuring reliability, operability, and flexibility. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, gain exposure to core system components, and build skills across infrastructure, backend, and frontend development. Contribute through code and by helping the squad navigate change and improve system development and operation.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and optimize processing pipeline components for compute-heavy survey jobs.
Write high-quality code and review changes within the squad and across teams.
Support integration of new scanning devices and drones, bringing data from new sensors into the pipeline.
Collaborate with other internal teams.
Maintain internal software products for diagnostics and human-in-the-loop interventions.
Mentor and guide mid-level engineers within the squad.

Requirements

Excited by complex problems and motivated to learn an unfamiliar domain.
Strong backend engineering skills (ideally Node.js and/or Python).
Comfortable picking up new stacks where needed.
Big-picture mindset with pragmatic architectural decision-making.
Strong collaborator with great communication skills.
Enjoy mentoring, giving guidance, and bringing teammates along.
