About the Role
The Recover at Work Specialist co-ordinates, influences and drives recovery and/or return to work, inclusive of all injury management activities and in accordance with the NSWPF Return to Work Program for employees with complex and/or long term NSWPF injuries. They engage, influence and provide support to Commands to ensure they meet their obligations as an employer, imbed the health benefits of good work, and support the achievement of positive recover at work outcomes across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinates, influences and drives recovery and/or return to work.
- Manages all injury management activities in accordance with the NSWPF Return to Work Program for employees with complex and/or long term NSWPF injuries.
- Engages, influences and provides support to Commands to ensure they meet their employer obligations.
- Imbeds the health benefits of good work.
- Supports the achievement of positive recover at work outcomes across the organisation.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check prior to commencement.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force prior to commencement.
- Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum).
