About the Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the planning, design and delivery of a range of infrastructure projects across their full lifecycle. Working within our Civil team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists to help deliver practical, innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Undertake civil design activities including earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and related infrastructure.
  • Support the delivery of transport, water and urban development projects from concept through to detailed design.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality project outcomes.
  • Support the preparation and review of project deliverables to ensure compliance with client and industry standards.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling and delivery activities.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in civil infrastructure engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Exposure to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects such as roads, rail, water or urban development projects.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and design standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Progress towards Chartered Engineer status (CPEng), or an interest in pursuing accreditation in the future.
