Responsibilities

  • Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements

  • Current registration in New York State as an RN Licensure required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN required.
  • Current BLS ACLS, PALS certification required.
  • NIHSS
  • TCAR within 6 months of hire
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in both scrubbing and circulating in major surgical cases required.
  • Previous OR experience required.
  • Excellent organization, communication, computer and interpersonal skills are needed.
  • Able to push, pull and lift 25 pounds.
