About the Role
As a Development Engineer Electronics, you will research and develop electronic circuits, products, and control solutions for global Signify Dynalite Connected Lighting systems.
Responsibilities
- Research new technologies, electronics components, and circuits.
- Develop electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.
- Perform design verification and validation to ensure functionality, compliance, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
- Liaise with local and global R&D colleagues, material suppliers, and manufacturers.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering.
- 2+ years of commercial experience in Analogue & Digital electronics design.
- Strong proficiency in Altium E-CAD (PCB Design) & MS Office suite.
- Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers implementation, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits, and power supplies.
- Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Good understanding of Project Management fundamentals.
- Ability to work effectively in a global multi-site, multi-cultural R&D and Manufacturing Team environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes.
- Applicants must possess unrestricted working rights in Australia.
