About the Role
Responsible for delivering accurate and timely fund performance reports to clients and external third parties. The role involves developing and delivering post-trade compliance solutions and providing expertise in the formulation and maintenance of Excel-based templates for performance fee calculations. Additionally, the role requires developing new services and solutions for internal stakeholders by leveraging vendor-provided financial services products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the team's timely delivery of daily and periodic investment reporting data, including valuation, performance measurement, risk, and attribution analysis to SLA requirements.
- Supervise and ensure the quality of ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Develop compliance/investment monitoring reports regularly, ensuring investment managers adhere to mandates and all mandate breaches are detected and acted upon.
- Provide investment performance reporting services to clients.
- Develop and maintain performance fee calculation workbooks to offer document specifications.
- Develop and maintain data distribution services to clients and third parties.
- Provide developmental support to other departments within the company.
- Maintain and update internal Procedure Documentation, including support of SOC1 internal controls and client-driven audits.
- Ensure data integrity across internal systems and manage resolutions with the IT team.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders on process changes and new account setups.
- Ensure team compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Contribute to staff training and reviews.
- Undertake other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications preferred in Finance, Business or Commerce.
- A clear understanding of the end-to-end process of NAV generation and all its components is a key requirement.
- Experienced in managing people and processes in a timely and effective manner.
- 3-5 years industry experience in a middle office, operations, or a performance and attribution role.
- Previous experience with industry platforms such as HiPortfolio and Confluence Revolution preferred.
- FactSet experience is also beneficial.
