About the Role
As a Systems Engineering - Integration and Test (SEIT) Lead, you will work as part of a cross-functional team to design, integrate, debug, and test next-generation EW systems. You will focus on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, contributing to system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment.
Responsibilities
- Leading a medium-sized team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
- Managing all system engineering content and work products implementing the product development process
- Managing Cost and Schedule responsibilities for the systems team
- Executing systems planning and requirements development
- Creating and reviewing systems requirements, including software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
- Allocating requirements to other engineering disciplines
- Creating system test plans, procedures, and reports
- Providing oversight to product design, development, integration, and verification
- Developing and maintaining external relationships with customers, other contractors, and government officials
- Managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
- Monitoring and reporting metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
- Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
Requirements
- BS degree in a STEM field
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent
- Possess an active Secret security clearance (with ability to possess a Top Secret clearance in the future)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Expertise in effectively documenting, communicating, leading, and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
- EVMS certification and CAM experience required
