About the Role

PACKAGE PAVEMENT® is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance on their delivery fleet, trailers, and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document all phases of vehicle maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals.
• Document PM reports and equipment repair logs.
• Perform hydraulic and engine repairs.

Requirements

• Requires experience repairing gas/diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working as a mechanic.
• Experience in repairing truck brake systems (including hydraulic and air), and electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs when necessary.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
