About the Role
Stormville Trucking Company is seeking a full-time dump trailer driver to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Perform DOT pre- and post-trip inspection of tractor and trailer.
- Maintain driver log according to government regulations.
- Operate tractor/trailer, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Obtain necessary signatures on delivery tickets and product returns, following company guidelines.
- Return completed paperwork to dispatcher upon return to worksite.
- Inspect materials to ensure correct loading.
- Review and verify shipping document information for delivery accuracy.
- Collect payment for COD deliveries.
- Ensure on-time deliveries and report any delays to dispatcher.
- Deliver materials to customer locations.
- Report unsafe conditions, use equipment properly, handle materials safely, and maintain awareness of DOT safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a dump trailer driver.
- Clean MVR and CSA.
- Professional and customer-oriented demeanor.
