About the Role

Partner with Development Managers to deliver complex infrastructure projects across firming energy, renewable energy, and data centre developments. This role focuses on project engineering, technical due diligence, feasibility assessments, specification development, and stakeholder engagement to support Origin's energy transition strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments, feasibility studies, and due diligence for major energy projects.
• Develop technical specifications and manage engineering, procurement, and construction scopes.
• Support the delivery of greenfield and brownfield power generation projects through the development phase.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks to optimize project performance, cost, and reliability.

Requirements

• Experience in the energy sector and major infrastructure projects.
• Strong project engineering experience within power generation, firming energy (preferably gas turbines or gas engines) or similar industries.
• Expertise across development projects including technical design, risk management, and project delivery.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence technical outcomes.
• Engineering qualifications and a passion for advancing Australia's evolving energy landscape.
