About the Role

Join the Foundations engineering group to work on integrations that move data into and out of the Mitti platform. Focus on AI Connectors, authentication, and authorization, while also maintaining existing integrations, automations, and the public API.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build an ecosystem for MCP-based and other data connectors.
  • Contribute to the shared foundational platform supporting integrations.
  • Support and evolve existing integrations, automations, webhooks, and public API.
  • Work with billing engineers on integrations for enterprise-grade tiers.
  • Build with enterprise-grade fundamentals, including SSO, SCIM, and data governance.
  • Take ownership of features from inception to delivery.
  • Participate in code review, testing, and process improvement.
  • Keep user experience in mind for platform-facing work.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in a strongly-typed backend language (Go preferred).
  • Comfort working in frontend and infrastructure as needed.
  • Strong design patterns and distributed systems thinking.
  • Practical experience building complex third-party integrations (e.g., webhook handling, external APIs, ETL pipelines).
  • Ability to thrive working with ambiguity and defining direction.
  • Experience using AI tools in development workflow.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns (API key management, OAuth, SSO, SAML, SCIM).
  • Direct experience with enterprise business systems and orchestrators (e.g., SSO/SCIM, Temporal, Workato, Salesforce, Zuora, OpenMeter).
  • Curiosity about business growth and commercial constraints.
  • Experience leading a feature end-to-end.
  • Participation in guilds or communities of practice.
  • Familiarity with relational data stores (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Understanding of distributed systems and datastore design principles.
