About the Role

We're hiring a Junior Software Engineer to help build the product and systems through which customers experience Clark. You'll work closely with senior engineers across the stack — frontend, backend, data, and integrations — while ramping up on our codebase, our customers, and how we build reliable software in a high-trust domain.

Responsibilities

  • Ship features across the stack under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Write clean, tested, well-documented code
  • Help build integrations and internal tools
  • Investigate bugs and learn to debug across the stack
  • Participate in code review and pick up team engineering practices
  • Grow into owning larger pieces of the product over time

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent through school/internships/personal projects)
  • Solid fundamentals in at least one modern language/framework
  • A strong personal project or open-source contribution that shows real initiative
  • Eager to learn fast in a high-ownership, fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable asking questions and taking feedback
  • Excited to work in person with a talent-dense team
