About the Role
Kraken is expanding its team to lead operational and cultural transformation for a major client in Japan. This role involves coordinating, building, managing, and executing cultural reform programs, working closely with technology, product management, and client teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of cultural reform programs.
- Guide clients through their transformation journey in collaboration with the Kraken Transformation Director.
- Deploy cultural reform programs, including leadership development and coaching, in partnership with Kraken Technologies implementation teams and clients.
- Create plans, timelines, and resources for successful implementation.
- Manage project progress, escalate issues, and resolve obstacles.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to clients in collaboration with Kraken teams.
- Prepare and deliver workshops for training groups and leadership development.
- Support operational analysis based on client needs and translate it into team programs.
- Travel occasionally as required.
- Support clients directly and demonstrate flexibility to assist beyond designated areas.
Requirements
- Expertise in Business Transformation / BPR, with a track record of leading BPR or transformation projects.
- Experience in driving operational excellence and efficiency improvements within organizations.
- Expertise in organizational development, including optimizing structures, culture, and processes.
- Experience in enhancing organizational capabilities aligned with business objectives.
- Proven ability to build relationships and coordinate with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and executing complex projects or programs.
- Focus on delivering results within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
- Coaching experience to improve team performance and professional development.
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Enjoy ambiguity and proactively drive initiatives.
- Thrive on direct client engagement.
- Leverage a simple, evolving technology platform under freedom, autonomy, and trust.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and enjoy self-learning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and collaborate effectively with teams.
