Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the successful execution of client implementation programs using our Build-Operate-Transfer methodology.
  • Find solutions that bring clients into the new software and operating model, accelerating delivery and reducing risk.
  • Develop deep relationships with clients’ C-suite executives.
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Continuously demonstrate Kraken’s business value to the client and build a sustainable governance model.
  • Set the direction and pace for program execution, managing expectations, removing blockers, and making prioritization decisions.
  • Understand program details and report progress to client and internal stakeholders.
  • Embody Kraken’s ways of working, providing support and feedback to team members and reinforcing psychological safety.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading significant business transformation projects leveraging Agile principles, ideally within utilities or similar complex industries.
  • Ability to lead software delivery engagements with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and negotiate with C-suite executives and initiate strategic discussions.
  • Pragmatic and effective problem solver, capable of focusing efforts on critical priorities.
  • Strong client-centric approach with a focus on understanding and enabling client success while managing expectations.
  • Collaborative team player with experience working effectively across local and global teams.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Strong client and quality focus, with a proven ability to build and enhance customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Experience in the Japanese utilities sector is highly desirable.
  • Must have the right to work in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not offered.
