About the Role
Kraken Technologies is seeking a Product Manager to join the Kraken Utilities team, focusing on the water industry. This role involves proactively discovering and solving complex industry problems, steering client migrations onto the Kraken platform, and driving solutions from inception to successful rollout. The position offers high autonomy and requires a blend of strategic vision and rigorous execution skills to transform the utilities sector.
Responsibilities
- Proactively drive discovery and identify underlying customer problems.
- Scale and grow products to deliver massive value.
- Steer significant migrations onto the Kraken platform.
- Ensure high-stakes, highly complex projects are delivered methodically and successfully.
- Autonomously navigate ambiguity and prioritize team's work.
- Drive solutions from initial inception to successful rollout.
- Leverage data to spot new product opportunities and measure impact.
- Integrate modern tools, including AI, to accelerate work and enhance the product.
- Partner with customer teams to triage operational issues and improve the platform.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B product management, ideally enterprise software.
- Understanding of balancing a visionary product roadmap with critical client commitments.
- Attention to detail and systems thinking for managing complex products and migrations.
- History of confidently managing competing demands and prioritizing effectively.
- Tenacity and a "Just Do It" attitude, willing to dive deep and push through blockers.
- Ability to familiarize with relevant domains, collect data, troubleshoot, and liaise with parties.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact seamlessly with people of varying technical backgrounds.
- Excellent listening skills to harness ideas from diverse sources.
- Understanding the need for exceptional, structured documentation for engineering and system integrity.
- Previous experience in the water industry or other utilities is a bonus.
