About the Role
This IT internship offers a hands-on educational experience, mirroring the responsibilities of full-time IT Operations Engineers. Interns will collaborate with mentors on real-world projects, gaining exposure to system support, configuration, and optimization across various technology stacks.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technology support requests.
- Build and configure Windows and Linux devices.
- Support Windows domain infrastructure.
- Monitor and support systems.
- Optimize work processes using tools like PowerShell.
- Deconstruct technical problems and diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues at desktop, server, and network levels.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Available to work 40 hours per week in person.
- Knowledgeable of computer hardware components and their interactions.
- Familiar with the Windows operating system.
- Interested in learning about networking, programming, or system administration.
- Eager to help people and solve problems.
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully.
- A reliable team player with a "no job too small" attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Humble and unafraid to ask questions and admit mistakes.
Skills
