About the Role
JUNI builds the leading startup ecosystem for science-based spin-offs in Berlin and Brandenburg. We create the conditions for successful deep-tech companies to emerge from excellent research, in collaboration with universities, research institutions, companies, investors, and politics. You will shape long-term partnerships with scientific partners, develop new educational programs, and ensure that scientific talents become the founders of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire Education & Science Partnerships division, developing new formats, programs, and partnerships with our network of universities and research institutions.
- Combine strategic stakeholder management with operational implementation.
- Collaborate closely with university leadership, professors, startup centers, researchers, and students to inspire scientific talents for entrepreneurship.
- Build and develop long-term partnerships with universities, research institutions, and scientific networks.
- Collaborate with university presidencies, institute leadership, professors, and technology transfer offices.
- Develop joint strategies for promoting scientific spin-offs.
- Build innovative formats for entrepreneurship education and scientific transfer.
- Develop new teaching and qualification offerings in collaboration with universities.
- Integrate entrepreneurship education programs into partner study courses and teaching formats.
- Develop effective mechanisms for the early identification of entrepreneurial talents.
- Build and manage a data-driven talent pipeline.
- Develop new excellence programs for particularly entrepreneurial talents.
- Work closely with internal teams for ventures, programs, and business development.
- Develop KPI systems to measure reach, impact, and conversion.
- Establish transparent control mechanisms for the entire talent area.
- Manage the science portfolio based on potential and impact.
- Continuously develop the offering portfolio.
Requirements
- Comfortable communicating with professors, founders, investors, and students.
- Experience in building strategic partnerships with universities or research institutions.
- Understanding of scientific transfer, entrepreneurship, or venture building.
- Experience in building educational, innovation, or talent programs.
- Enjoyment in building new structures and formats.
- Strong communication, moderation, and networking skills.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and high initiative.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- A doctorate or experience in the scientific and transfer environment is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
- Ability to credibly mediate between science and entrepreneurship.
