About the Role

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer software
Create documentation for equipment and/or training
Repair and maintain MIG welding equipment
Read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
Document changes to schematics/update in Autocad
Repair equipment on an as needed basis
Network systems communications through IP address
Lead improvement projects for equipment updates
Support maintenance PM program with technical knowledge
Use knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals
Understand shielding gas type and ratios
Confirm circuit continuity
Calibrate voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
Understand weld fume health impact
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering and 12 years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment OR 20 (or more) years of related experience
