About the Role
Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Senior Architect experienced in lab design to their Minneapolis team.
Responsibilities
- Develop plans for lab and high-tech facilities including teaching/research.
- Develop flexible planning grids, lab organization diagrams, and service distribution concepts as part of a team.
- Document laboratory systems, including casework, lab equipment, and lab space development.
- Assist with business development, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Lead teams using technical expertise.
- Mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in architectural lab programming/planning.
- Registered Architect.
- LEED AP preferred.
- Experience managing clients, project teams, and project processes.
- Desire to learn more about sustainability.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
