About the Role
The Business Development Designer will implement the firm's visual brand identity across print and digital assets, designing and producing materials for external and internal communications for business development/marketing and recruiting purposes. This role supports the materials, templates, campaigns, and experiences that shape client, attorney, and staff engagement with the brand.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a consistent visual voice across all creative materials, ensuring strong brand alignment and elevated creative standards.
- Produces brand-aligned assets across print, digital, social, event, experiential, and corporate channels, including business development materials, thought leadership, campaign assets, email graphics, recruiting materials, and client-facing collateral.
- Creates, adapts, and maintains design templates and other core brand assets to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality execution across the firm.
- Supports the design and production of event materials and brand activations, including invitations, and develops engaging graphics, layouts, and infographics.
- Coordinates with editors, illustrators, photographers, printers, freelancers, and other resources on assigned projects, preparing files for print and digital production with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Partners with the design manager, design director, business development, and marketing colleagues to execute work supporting firm priorities.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within a brand, in-house creative team, agency, or marketing environment.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with a strong portfolio.
- Experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
- Strong typographic and layout skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a critical eye for accuracy and consistency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with great proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organized and timely, with tremendous attention to detail.
- A collaborative working style, openness to feedback, and strong communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new tools and platforms, and to grow skills across brand design, digital experiences, and emerging creative technology.
