About the Role

Elite Team Logistics is seeking a Private Aviation Security Screener to ensure the safety and security of air travelers. This role offers flexible hours, paid training, and compensation for travel, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Retirees and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Treat all information as confidential.
• Project a positive, well-groomed, professional image.
• Provide Elite service to all involved with the operation.
• Coordinate, secure, and set up screening locations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, clients, and airport staff.
• Verify passengers’ identities and clear discrepancies.
• Inspect passengers and belongings for prohibited/hazardous items.
• Ensure continuous supervision of screened passengers until they board the aircraft.
• Assess situations and notify local law enforcement and/or the airline Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) when necessary.
• Report all government tests, real weapons, injuries, and other major incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep the supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area.
• Report maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years or older.
• Must be a United States citizen via birthright or naturalization.
• Must pass and maintain a 10-year criminal history background check.
• Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol test and submit to random tests.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED/equivalent.
• Proficiency in communicating in English with diverse people.
• Physically capable of standing throughout a two to four-hour shift with constant bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Reliable transportation to and from various locations.
• Successful completion of all required training and ongoing certification training.
• Must have a cell phone, e-mail account, and skills to navigate web-based platforms.
