About the Role

The Junior Registrar's Office Services Advisor will support the Registrar's Office team in activities and operations to provide superior customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Update student records, ensuring accuracy, organization, and general management, and ensure these tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the admissions team in evaluating admission applications (identifying admission bases).
  • Receive and validate official documents (transcripts, diplomas, proof of citizenship).
  • Support the Registrar's Office in configuring the student record management system.
  • Assist the Student Financial Support Center (CAFE) in receiving payments from the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) and other student payments, and update corresponding records.
  • Manage admissions and student record email accounts and requests from other departmental units.
  • Create Ontario School Identification Numbers (OSIN) for all students for the Ministry of Colleges and Universities of Ontario.
  • Maintain Registrar's Office information on the student platform.
  • Support the Registrar in planning the academic calendar and disseminate information on the University's various platforms (Website, student portal, and UOF intranet).
  • Produce student cards.
  • Perform any other related tasks required by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Hold post-secondary education in administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an administrative position. Experience in a post-secondary environment is an asset.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying institutional, government, agency, and ministry policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Experience with document management systems.

  • Starting from $45,752 (depending on experience)
