About the Role
Fluidstack is seeking individuals who are passionate about accelerating the deployment of AI infrastructure. The company is focused on delivering gigawatt-scale compute power by rethinking every layer of the technology stack, from acquiring power to operating data centers. This role is crucial in ensuring the speed and scale of these operations.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed electrical and controls models and drawings for factory fabrication, including panels, raceway, cable schedules, and terminations.
- Detail installation-level components such as conduit and cable tray runs, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure accuracy of BOM-linked parts for direct use in shop ordering and building.
- Process engineering changes into updated, released packages rapidly and track revisions cleanly.
- Own and maintain model cleanliness, including standards, symbol libraries, and templates.
- Address drawing issues at the source by fixing templates or standards, not just individual sheets.
Requirements
- Experience detailing electrical or controls packages for fabrication or modular assemblies.
- Proficiency in an electrical CAD platform with daily output of wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
- Ability to create drawings that allow shops and electricians to build without needing clarification.
- Experience maintaining model standards and library discipline, including building and curating symbol libraries and templates.
- Skill in managing revisions without version chaos, ensuring released packages are current.
- Understanding of installation practices, including bend radii, terminations, and necessary clearances for electricians.
