About the Role
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI by delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. We are seeking individuals who care deeply about this mission and want to be part of a fast-paced, innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Engineer the electrical systems of the modular product, including power distribution, grounding, and controls integration, from concept through released drawings.
- Own the one-lines, panel schedules, and cable and raceway design, ensuring they meet factory installation and field connection standards.
- Solve integration problems where electrical systems meet structure and mechanical components, addressing routing, penetrations, and tolerances.
- Provide electrical support for the factory and field, answering RFIs promptly and engineering fixes into future revisions.
- Drive prototyping and validation through mockups, fit checks, and first-article reviews.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience engineering electrical systems for complex physical products, modular construction, or critical facilities (e.g., prefab power skids, switchgear OEM products, modular data centers, or repeatable critical-facility work at an EPC).
- Experience supporting production launches of designed products, from first article through repeat builds.
- Proficiency in designing for factory installation, with an understanding of harnesses and pre-terminated assemblies.
- Ability to create clear and concise drawings that minimize field questions.
- Experience collaborating across disciplines to resolve integration issues.
- Ability to iterate designs rapidly while maintaining configuration control.
