About the Role
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI by delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. We are looking for individuals who care deeply about this problem space and want to contribute to our mission of making humanity more free through AI.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed mechanical and structural models and drawings for fabrication.
- Detail steel and mechanical systems to fabrication level, including connections, penetrations, pipe spools, and BOM-linked parts.
- Update and release drawing packages in response to engineering changes rapidly.
- Own and enforce model hygiene, including standards, libraries, and templates.
- Design and industrialize factory-built data center units.
- Detail structures, skids, and piping systems to the weld and bolt level.
- Manage rapid engineering changes across units while maintaining revision control.
- Build modeling standards, part libraries, and templates to improve detailing efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience detailing for fabrication: structural steel, skids, piping, or modular assemblies in a relevant manufacturing environment.
- Ability to produce drawings that fabrication shops can use without clarification.
- Proficiency in modeling to standards and maintaining library discipline.
- Skill in handling revision changes without version chaos.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including welds, bends, tolerances, and clearances.
- Experience with identifying and incorporating necessary details from red-lines.
