About the Role
Catholic Healthcare is seeking passionate and caring individuals to support older Australians in their homes, enabling them to live independently. This varied and rewarding role involves travelling within the local community and surrounding suburbs, with no two days being the same.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and connecting with clients, assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks such as cleaning, tidying, and washing as per the care plan.
- Providing transport for appointments and shopping.
- Meal preparation.
- Offering social support or respite for family/carers.
- Assisting with personal care, including showering and dressing, if qualified/fully trained.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to older Australians.
- Comfort interacting with a diverse range of people.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable team player.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety.
- An Australian driver's licence.
- Access to a registered motor vehicle.

- Pay rate from $34.50 - $48.75 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement ($1.11 per km)
