About the Role
ITC is seeking motivated individuals to join our fiber splicing team. We offer full training for splicing fiber optic cable, servicing both residential and commercial customers. This role involves underground and aerial splicing, as well as running fiber drops.
Responsibilities
- Splice fiber optic cable
- Perform underground and aerial splicing
- Run fiber drops for clients
Requirements
- Operate trenching equipment (mini skid steer, walk-behind trencher)
- Carry, handle, and climb 28-ft ladders
- Work at heights on utility poles and strands
- Lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Work flexible hours, including extended days, weekends, and holidays
- Possess a valid state driver's license and a non-negligent driving record
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen
- Visually distinguish wire and cable colors
- Complete on-the-job and/or classroom training
