About the Role
The Server defines services for our customers by taking and delivering food orders. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Confirms daily specials and provides detailed information on ingredients.
- Records client choices and relays them to the kitchen.
- Recalls orders accurately and delivers correct food items to clients.
- Ensures client satisfaction with meals.
- Informs clients about new menu items.
- Recommends wine and beverage pairings with assistance from the bartender.
- Recommends side dishes to compliment main courses.
- Upsells beverages, coffees, and desserts as appropriate.
- Handles customer service concerns graciously, referring difficult issues to the Manager / Executive Chef.
- Complies with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 years previous experience in a similar capacity
- Fully bilingual in French and English
