About the Role
As an Associate Director at Linesight, you will lead experienced teams on significant UK Critical Infrastructure programmes, providing strategic leadership across transmission projects. You will empower, support, and enable ownership of your role, contributing to business strategy and building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead Programme Controls across a portfolio of Critical Infrastructure projects, including cable connections, substation developments, and commissioning.
- Establish and implement Programme Controls and PMO frameworks to support successful programme delivery.
- Provide strategic oversight of programme governance, reporting, planning, risk, cost, schedule and change management.
- Develop executive reporting and performance dashboards, providing insight to senior client stakeholders.
- Drive programme planning, road mapping and performance tracking across multiple projects.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and delivery partners.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing Programme Controls teams.
- Support business development and bid activities across the Energy sector.
Requirements
- Significant Programme Controls experience delivering infrastructure programmes.
- Successfully managed complex, multi-project portfolios for utility or energy clients.
- Expertise in PMO design and implementation, governance, reporting, risk, cost and change management.
- Experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and leading programme governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Hold, or are working towards, a recognised professional qualification such as APM, PMI, MSP, or an equivalent industry accreditation.
