About the Role

The Territory Services Manager will be responsible for coordinating maintenance requirements and costs, managing repair and maintenance operations, and ensuring work is performed efficiently and within company standards. This role plays an important part in achieving financial objectives by preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions. The manager will also maintain and manage a high-quality service technician team through recruitment, training, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies current and future maintenance requirements and costs by coordinating with management, production personnel, tradesmen, and technicians.
  • Completes maintenance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, negotiating and hiring contractors, and following up on work results.
  • Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality control personnel.
  • Manages repair and maintenance operations by determining priorities, scheduling, repair, maintenance schedules, and installation of equipment.
  • Ensures repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports, operating practices, and other documentation.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Manages maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures.
  • Ensures work is performed within company standards by inspecting it to ensure its quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees.
  • Maintains high quality results of service technician staff by training, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to the Facilities team by accomplishing related results as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-directed.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Understanding of business principles, procurement practices, budgeting, and expense analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve maintenance issues.
  • A current valid driver’s license with a clean abstract is required to operate a company vehicle.
  • In the field requirements 40% – 60% in local region.
  • Travel to Toronto Support Office as required.
  • Job duties may change in alignment with the business’ needs.

Salary/Compensations

  • $65,000 - $75,000
