About the Role

As a Detective (m/f/d), you will actively contribute to security in retail. Your tasks include observing customers and sales areas, as well as monitoring and analyzing video surveillance systems for merchandise and theft prevention. You will conduct security and control measures, approach individuals with justified suspicion of theft, secure evidence, and document incidents. Furthermore, you will work closely with the police on criminal offenses and react confidently and appropriately in critical situations.

Requirements

Security test according to § 34a GewO (mandatory)
Experience as a detective required
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required due to extensive reporting and documentation obligations
Impeccable certificate of good conduct
High reliability, sense of responsibility, and discretion
Friendly, customer- and service-oriented demeanor
Good observation skills as well as independent and careful working style
