About the Role
As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you will support the Store Team Leader in developing and implementing business strategy and leading daily store operations. Your focus is on training and coaching the team to achieve high performance, deliver an unforgettable guest experience, meet sales goals, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure operational excellence, all while representing company values.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty.
- Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and contribute to the store's financial success.
- Develop short and long-term business plans to drive key performance indicators.
- Motivate and inspire the team by embodying company core values.
- Hold the team accountable for customer service standards on the salesfloor and in fitting rooms.
- Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs.
- Train and develop team members to provide outstanding service.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
- Prioritize team meetings, development plans, and performance reviews.
- Drive associate engagement by celebrating team performance.
- Execute and innovate daily operational procedures.
- Support the team in maintaining visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure fitting rooms are guest-ready and meet brand standards.
- Maintain store safety standards.
- Adhere to Asset Protection standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Passion for AE and Aerie products.
- Previous retail management experience.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Strong priority-setting and time management skills.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- General understanding of employment law.
- Business acumen.
- Flexible availability to work when the guest shops.
