About the Role

Le Pain Quotidien is hiring for various positions across their NYC locations. They are seeking team members who take pride in hospitality and enjoy working in a warm, welcoming environment. This role offers opportunities for growth within the Convive Brands portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal and specials, for dine-in and to-go orders according to LPQ ticket standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all restaurant areas by following cleaning checklists, assisting with dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and performing detail cleaning.
• Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper food par levels and using prep sheets to prepare correct quantities.
• Conduct line checks to ensure quality control.
• Utilize proper tools, equipment, and ingredients for each menu item.
• Follow all opening, mid, and closing procedures as directed by checklists and the Kitchen Manager.
• Complete Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper food handling.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Previous knife-handling experience is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
