About the Role
As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will play a vital role in shaping enterprise strategy, designing operating models, and leading transformation from boardroom vision through to execution within Australia's financial services sector. Strategy& is looking for a Senior Manager to help lead conversations around AI, regulatory reform, shifting customer expectations, and new competitive dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans that are closely aligned with clients’ overarching business objectives.
- Direct comprehensive research and analysis initiatives to capture valuable market insights and trends.
- Lead client engagements, facilitating workshops and presentations to shape executive decision-making.
- Drive the quality of detailed deliverables, ensuring high-quality reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Frame the problem, build and test hypotheses, direct workstreams, and craft recommendations that executives act on.
- Contribute directly to business development and thought leadership, helping shape our point of view on the issues that matter most to the sector.
Requirements
- Proven analytical abilities, showcasing the skill to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
- High proficiency in communication, both verbally and in writing, to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for delivering innovative and creative solutions to challenges.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, contributing positively and effectively within diverse and dynamic teams.
- Genuine financial services depth - whether you've built that inside an institution, in a strategy firm or within PwC's own network.
- Understanding of how financial services organisations work, how they're regulated, and what's really driving their strategic agenda.
- Hypothesis-driven approach, commercial instinct, and the ability to bring out the best in diverse teams.
