About the Role

State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is seeking a candidate to lead their Implementation Leads. This role is crucial for managing and commercializing the Alpha Benchmark Service proposition and client oversight, contributing to State Street Alpha's mission of redefining investment performance across the entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and commercialize the Alpha Benchmark Service proposition and client oversight.
  • Develop a service model for all Alpha use cases, including integrations with CRIMS, ADP, external OMS, Alpha Performance Services, and Alpha RPA product partners (Axioma/MSCI/Factset/BBG Port).
  • Lead engagement with RIMES to develop and monitor a strategic product roadmap.
  • Negotiate commercial arrangements with RIMES, supported by Alpha executives.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with RIMES.
  • Oversee RIMES' delivery of business-as-usual and product development initiatives.
  • Assess the need and integration model for alternative index sourcing solutions into Alpha Benchmark services.
  • Collaborate with Alpha/STT business development partners to articulate practice capabilities and support business development activities.
  • Develop and maintain a client-facing commercial terms sheet.
  • Stay informed of general Alpha product changes (e.g., Alpha EDM) and lead impact assessment and response.
  • Lead discussions with Alpha Index Hub Product to set the quarterly/annual development agenda and budget.
  • Actively support key client engagements (e.g., VTAM) to ensure successful conversion to Alpha Benchmark services.
  • Enforce the utilization of Alpha Standard Documentation and develop/maintain ASIS and other relevant practice standards.
  • Partner with the broader State Street organization to provide solutions for new client requirements, including bespoke solutions.
  • Lead the deployment of AI opportunities for client and Alpha servicing team benefit.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in Front, Middle, and Back Office services.
  • Deep experience in the Index and Benchmark Domain, including servicing complex FO use cases for highly customized benchmarks and ETF businesses.
  • Extensive experience with Financial Services data domains: Security Reference Master, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance, Analytics.
  • Must have demonstrated success in Practice/Product management.
  • Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Service Catalogue, Data Lineage tools, Operational Dashboards, Process Monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge in Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge about internal and external integrations, triage issues, and implement/recommend solutions to data problems and anomalies.
