About the Role

State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is seeking a candidate to lead their Implementation Leads. This role is crucial for developing and commercializing a service model for Risk Analytics and Market Data Operational Control Framework within the Alpha front to back strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and commercialize a service model for Risk Analytics and Market Data Operational Control Framework.
  • Manage and commercialize the Alpha RPA proposition and client oversight.
  • Develop a service model covering all use cases in the Alpha model, including integrations with CRIMS, ADP, external OMS, Alpha Performance Services, and Alpha RPA product partners.
  • Lead the practice in developing the operating and servicing model for Alpha integrations of RPA with product partners (Axioma/Factset/MSCI/BBG Port) and CR Analytics.
  • Lead the practice in developing the operating and servicing model for performance ready data delivery to Alpha product partners (Factset/MSCI/BBG Perform) and Alpha NG Performance (Opturo).
  • Participate in the development of product (technology) integration with business partners to ensure successful Alpha e2e integration.
  • Influence Alpha product partners to achieve a commercial and risk-aware e2e solution.
  • Articulate practice capabilities and support business development activities with Alpha/STT business development partners.
  • Develop and maintain a client-facing commercial terms sheet.
  • Assess and respond to general Alpha product changes (e.g., Alpha EDM).
  • Lead discussions with Alpha RPA Product teams and set the quarterly/annual development agenda and budget with CRD/Alpha Product Leads.
  • Enforce the utilization of Alpha Standard Documentation and develop/maintain ASIS and other relevant practice standards.
  • Partner with broader State Street organization to provide solutions for new client requirements, including bespoke solutions.
  • Lead the deployment of AI opportunities for clients and Alpha servicing teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in Front, Middle, and Back Office services.
  • Deep experience in Risk Performance and Attribution, including servicing complex FO use cases for Start of Day decision making across various asset classes/security types.
  • Extensive experience with Financial Services data domains: Security Reference Master, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance, Analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in Practice/Product management.
  • Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Service Catalogue, Data Lineage tools, Operational Dashboards, Process Monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge in Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge about internal and external integrations, triage issues, and implement/recommend solutions to data problems and anomalies.

Experience Level

  • 15+ years in risk/analytics/performance - data management, product and market data roles and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success in supporting fund/risk/performance management functions across equity, fixed income and alternate asset classes for large scale asset managers.

Education Level

  • University degree in computer science, data management or other financial services technical field
  • CFA qualifications required.

Salary/Compensations

  • $170,000 - $267,500 Annual
