About the Role
The Facilities Cleaning team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the ski lodge and surrounding areas. This guest-facing role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping assigned areas clean and well maintained.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
- Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
- Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
- Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Provide friendly guest assistance and address minor issues as needed.
- Follow safety procedures, timekeeping policies, and department standards.
- Maintain equipment and a professional appearance.
Requirements
- Cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
- Comfortable interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Able to work efficiently in busy, fast-paced environments.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
- Work on uneven, snowy, or icy terrain.
- Climb stairs and ladders.
- Regularly push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
