About the Role

The Parking Attendant ensures the safe and efficient operation of the parking facility, serving as the first point of contact for guests and creating an exceptional first impression. This role requires a high degree of guest interaction and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the efficient operation and control of the parking lot.
• Direct the parking of all types of vehicles to maximize capacity use of parking areas.
• Report any vehicle damage immediately to a supervisor.
• Communicate cheerfully, knowledgeably, and professionally with guests.
• Pick up litter in parking lots and shovel snow or ice from steps or other areas when necessary.
• Provide guests with accurate information on conditions, events, and programs.
• Identify and address potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.

Requirements

• Must be alert, reliable and willing to learn.
• Must be able to complete tasks as directed thoroughly and accurately.
• Must be comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Must be able to handle stressful, noisy, and crowded situations.
• Must have strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse winter weather conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, hail, wind, and cold temperatures.
