About the Role

This role is for an intercompany specialist ready to own one of the most complex parts of a finance transformation. You'll lead intercompany design end to end on large-scale finance transformation programmes, in front of the client — across SAP, BlackLine or comparable platforms — becoming the person clients rely on through the close and growing into the intercompany design authority for our work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead intercompany design end to end on large-scale finance transformation programmes.
  • Own one of the most complex parts of a finance transformation.
  • Lead the intercompany workstream end to end — fit-to-standard, design, testing and deployment — as the finance design authority for the domain.
  • Manage dependencies with adjacent areas and lead functional teams across onshore and offshore delivery.
  • Facilitate design and decision workshops with senior finance, tax and treasury stakeholders.
  • Keep delivery on track through structured issue management and decision papers.
  • Support proposals and bids.
  • Shape transformation approaches.
  • Build reusable assets and points of view.
  • Lend expertise across client work where needed.

Requirements

  • Deep intercompany accounting at scale — cross-company postings, intercompany AR/AP, invoicing, clearing, netting and settlement, and intercompany close and reconciliation.
  • Understand how enterprise structure — company codes, controlling areas, profit centres — shapes intercompany design and reporting.
  • Turn transfer-pricing policy into workable finance processes: margin and mark-up logic, and the operational flows behind them.
  • Delivered intercompany on SAP (ICMR — Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation, and RRICB / advanced intercompany billing), on BlackLine (Intercompany Hub, transaction matching, netting), or on comparable finance platforms.
  • Depth on one platform, with the range to work across others.
  • Real Record-to-Report depth around the close.
  • Command of the finance detail intercompany runs through — intercompany AP/AR, non-trade (recharge) invoicing, transfer pricing and eliminations.
  • Clear view of how it connects to group reporting, consolidation and supply-chain finance.
  • Take ownership and lead from the front.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate finance, tax and treasury perspectives with confidence.
  • Bring a collaborative leadership style and a value-led mindset.
  • Link intercompany improvements to a faster close, less reconciliation effort and better performance insight.
  • Develop the people around you.
  • Good judgement, critical thinking and clear decisions under pressure are second nature.
  • A track record leading intercompany and transfer-pricing transformation on large-scale, multi-entity or multi-country programmes.
  • Confidence to lead complex design decisions with senior clients.
  • A professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).
