About the Role
A Barback supports bartenders, assisting them in ensuring that all customer needs are met in an expedient, courteous and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Stock and replenish liquor, beer, mixers, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies.
- Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and daily operations.
- Clean and maintain bar areas, equipment, workstations, and guest areas.
- Support food service, special events, promotions, and remote beverage stations.
- Change beverage canisters and assist with inventory management.
- Follow all NYS Liquor Authority regulations and company policies.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- TIPS certification required before starting employment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-energy environment.
- Comfortable handling cash, operating POS systems, and multitasking.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours.
- Ability to navigate crowded areas while carrying trays and supplies.
- Ability to work on uneven terrain, including snow- and ice-covered surfaces.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and climb stairs as needed.
