About the Role
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, removing trash, and supporting safe, efficient kitchen operations in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the dishwasher and sink areas.
- Monitor and refill soap and drying agents.
- Remove trash and replace garbage bags.
- Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils throughout shifts.
- Clean kitchen and cafeteria mats, floors, and work areas.
- Store cleaned items in designated locations.
- Retrieve supplies from storage, coolers, and freezers.
- Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment.
- Assist chefs and supervisors as needed.
Requirements
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Familiarity with kitchen tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Friendly and professional when interacting with staff and guests.
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
- Navigate uneven terrain, including snow and ice.
- Climb stairs and ladders.
- Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
Skills
- Food service experience preferred.
