About the Role
As an EIR at Terrarium, you will partner with our team to validate a high conviction thesis, pressure test go-to-market strategies and unit economics, build the early product roadmap, and recruit the first team members. You will leverage our research stack, customer network, and capital pathway to transform insights into a venture-backable company.
Responsibilities
- Lead a zero-to-one company creation process from problem discovery to a backable plan
- Run rapid experiments that validate customer pain, willingness to pay, and repeatable acquisition
- Translate insights into a clear product specification and near-term roadmap, then ship an MVP
- Build the early operating model including pricing, go-to-market motion, and success metrics
- Engage Terrarium’s provider and payer partners to secure pilots and letters of intent
- Recruit and evaluate cofounders and founding hires through Terrarium’s cofounder matching network
- Prepare for investment committee with clear narrative, milestones, and capital plan
Requirements
- Founder energy and bias to action, with a record of building or owning zero-to-one work
- Knowledge of healthcare systems or health tech, with the ability to navigate clinical, regulatory, and data realities
- Commercial mindset and comfort building in market with customers
- Clear writing skills, ability to make decisions with incomplete data, and enjoyment of fast feedback loops
- Enjoyment in recruiting exceptional people and setting a high performance bar
- 6 to 12+ years in startups, product, engineering, operations, or new business building
- Evidence of shipped product, launched services, or scaled programs that drove revenue or outcomes
- Strength in one or more of: product management, full-stack or data engineering, B2B SaaS GTM, healthcare operations, analytics, or marketplace design
- Customer research fluency and a metrics mindset
- Integrity, resilience, and a collaborative style
