About the Role
Company Ventures is seeking an Associate to manage the day-to-day operations of their Founder Residency program. This role involves building a calendar of engaging events, managing social media and content creation, and utilizing AI tools to streamline operations. The Associate will work closely with investment and talent teams, as well as founders, in a highly visible position.
Responsibilities
- Design and run a recurring calendar of community events and formats, including workshops, brainstorms, lunches, and expert conversations.
- Host events, manage conversations, and facilitate networking among attendees.
- Activate and replenish the talent pipeline by coordinating with talent and investment teams to engage exceptional individuals.
- Build lightweight tools and automations using AI to manage trackers, outreach sequences, and scoring systems.
- Facilitate timely touchpoints with potential candidates.
- Enhance the community as a draw for talented individuals.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Founder Residency, including admissions, onboarding, and program rhythm for resident teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident founders, understanding their needs and facilitating connections.
- Continuously improve the Residency program based on feedback and evolving needs.
- Build and manage Company Ventures' content and social media presence.
- Create engaging content such as recaps, founder spotlights, and event highlights.
- Develop and execute a content strategy across various platforms, including writing, photography, video, and editing.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance content production speed and quality.
Requirements
- Ability to naturally host and bring people together.
- Genuine taste in programming and event design.
- Proven experience in brand-building social media and content creation.
- Comfortable building with AI tools for tasks like creating trackers and automating outreach.
- Organized to manage events and a residency cohort simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively across investment, talent, founders, and outside partners.
- Willingness to be present in the office daily.
