About the Role
As an Account Manager (w/m/d) for federal and state governments, you will support the digital transformation in the public sector by guiding public administration stakeholders in modernization and digitalization efforts. You will understand their requirements, collaboratively develop suitable solution approaches, and manage implementation from initial contact to successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Support and advise stakeholders (ministries, authorities, and other federal partners)
- Acquire new projects and partnerships and implement account plans
- Identify and analyze specific needs and requirements through interaction with decision-makers and subject matter experts
- Develop solution proposals in collaboration with internal teams (product, architecture, operations) and through market analysis
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial contact through conception to implementation, including monitoring and tracking key project progress in close coordination with implementation teams and stakeholders
- Successfully manage and complete federal digitalization projects within the context of the administrative platform
Requirements
- Excellent academic degree in Public Management, Politics, Administrative or Economic Sciences, Business Informatics, or a related field
- First to several years of experience in account management, sales of technology solutions, or collaboration with public institutions, ideally in the context of digital platforms, IT projects, or GovTech initiatives
- Good technical understanding and confident demeanor in political, federal, and administration-related environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills when interacting with stakeholders from ministries, authorities, and technology partners
- Solution-oriented thinking, structured and independent work style, with a high degree of coordination ability and team spirit
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
