About the Role

POP MART is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support store operations and expansion in the United States. This role involves overseeing store opening and closing, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, expertise in store processes, and the ability to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the sales floor of Pop Mart employees, setting expectations, goals, and motivating the team.
  • Act as the leader on duty in the store when Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager are not present, focused on delivering results while enabling a positive customer and employee experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products.
  • Lead store to meet store standards that reflect company brand image, values, and culture.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on POP MART core business information, including character information, products, and company history.
  • Support company marketing events such as in-store events, pop-up events, conventions, and new store openings.
  • Support company RoboShop business as needed and follow up with in-store RoboShop employees and RoboShop business partners.
  • Improve sales performance of stores and meet sales key performance indicators such as store conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, and store sales trends.
  • Drive sales of company key products such as Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories.
  • Execute Visual Merchandising and Marketing directives from business partners while attending weekly calls.
  • Install marketing decals, props, set up new merchandising planograms, and set up marketing fixtures.
  • Remerchandise the sales floor based on product sell-through or slow-moving product, making strategic decisions that align with business needs.
  • Work closely with Inventory Assistant Store Manager to determine back of house and warehouse inventory levels.
  • Be responsible for back of house organization, inventory management, receiving/transferring of goods, and weekly/quarterly inventory auditing.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year of store retail experience, supervisor or leader experience preferred.
  • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
  • Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders or step stools safely.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools (e.g., box cutters).
